The finished bags are STRONG because they have your design fabric on the outside and a sewn-in liner on the inside.
Standing bag dimensions are: Height: 16 ½", Depth 5", Width 12 ½”. Almost the size of a brown paper bag, but with more flexibility and MUCH more strength. And I've never had a ripped seam or handle.

Heart Shaped Oven Mitt - $6.25

Larger version of my other finger mitts. These are created in a heart shape. With fingers in and protected, wrap the finger mitt right onto an a dish without the corners of a regular pot holder falling into the food. Works great to get pans out of the toaster ovens too without burning the corners of a square potholder !

Quality layered with insulated padding and an extra layer of padding for that extra protection.

Microwave Bowl Potholder - $6.00

What a great way to use the microwave and still keep your hands from getting burned when removing a hot bowl from the microwave.
My version of these potholders are made with TWO layers of THICK batting. Most potholders that you find are made with only ONE layer, or use a thinner batting.
Place the bowl in the 'Bowl Pot Holder' and use your microwave as usual. When finished, remove the bowl from the microwave with the pot holder wrapped around it.
You can even use it to keep your fingers from freezing when holding a bowl of ice cream !
